$6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.
$4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle.
$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
$2.00 per person Fort admission.

Camping Fee:
$26.00 per night, plus tax. Includes water and electricity at Amelia River and Atlantic Beach campgrounds. Florida residents who are 65 years of age or older or who hold a social security disability award certificate or a 100 percent disability award certificate from the Federal Government are permitted to receive a 50 percent discount on current base campsite fees. Proof of eligibility

Youth Camping:
$1.00 per youth, organized youth and adult group camping.
$5.00 per adult/chaperon, organized youth and adult group camping.

The visitor center is open daily 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Park facilities are closed on December 25.

Cumberland Island is located seven miles east of St. Marys, Georgia, and is only accessible by boat. A concession operated passenger only, foot ferry departs from downtown St. Marys. Reservations for the are recommended. Find out how to make reservations by clicking here.

The ferry does not transport pets, bicycles, kayaks, or cars. Charter services are available through NPS concessionaire.
Visitors must check in at the Cumberland Island Visitor Center 30 minutes prior to departure. Failure to check in will result in cancellation of reservation.

The ferry boat schedule is as follows:
Spring/Summer/Fall (March 1 to November 30)
The ferry departs St. Marys at 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., and departs from Cumberland Island at 10:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., daily.
Spring/Summer (March 1 to September 30)
there is also a 2:45 p.m. departure from Cumberland Island Wednesday through Saturday.
Winter (December 1 to February 28)
The ferry departs St. Marys at 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., and departs from Cumberland Island at 10:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Thursday through Monday.

Entrance and amenity Fees:

Cumberland Island charges a entrance fee which is separate from the concession ferry fee. This fee is not paid when you reserve your passage on the Cumberland Queen Ferry and must be paid at the time of check in. The entrance fee is good for seven days. The fee may be waived if a visitor is a holder of a Federal Lands Recreation Pass.
Adults (over age 15) $4.00

Additional Fees for camping and interpretive programs. These fees are not paid when you reserve your space when booking passage on the Cumberland Queen Ferry and must be paid at the time of check in:
Camping: Sea Camp $4.00 per person per night. Backcountry and Wilderness $2.00 per person per night
Lands and Legacy Tours: $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for seniors (62 and over) and children (up to and including age 15)

Concession Fees:
Passage aboard the Cumberland queen ferry is $20.00 for adults, $18.00 for seniors (65 and over) and $14.00 for children (12 years and under).
The Cumberland Queen Company also charters boats for private trips including school groups to Cumberland Island. Please contact the reservation office for current rates, 877-860-6787.
The Cumberland Queen also rents bikes on Cumberland Island when the boat is in port at Sea Camp. Bike rentals are first come first serve and are beach cruzer type bikes. Cost: $16.00 per day trip, $20.00 if keeping bike over night.

Camp Sites
Spend a relaxing night at Lofton Creek Campground. We offer long-term and overnight camping for RVs and tents at weekly, overnight, and monthly rates. We prefer reservations, but they are not needed. Our front area is close to the road and includes places for RVs, while our back lots are tucked away in the woods for RVs and tents. Our overnight rate is only $27.
